Location: the farmhouse overlooks the valley of river Era, a tributary of river Arno, few kilometres far from Volterra, in the middle of hills, golden with wheat, vineyards and olive trees, immerged in lush and unpolluted nature, rich in history and memories from the past.

Its central location provides the opportunity to visit the most important cities of art in Tuscany and makes it the ideal place to enjoy both a relaxing and cultural holiday.

Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena are all within driving distance.

The farm is less than two kilometres far from a little hamlet where there is a baker’s, a newsagent’s, a food shop, a chemist’s, a bank and a post office.

Pool and other facilities: the farmhouse has a swimming pool 1.30 metres deep, surrounded by an area equipped with armchairs, beds and sunshades, fenced in by a laurel hedge and closed with a little gate, a small playground for children, a spacious veranda overlooking the swimming pool where to relax reading a book or having delicious barbecues, a garden chessboard and a common washing machine, whose use is free for all the guests.

Accommodation in an apartment or room: there are 5 apartments and 2 rooms available to guests. Each apartment has particular characteristics, all very large, recovered and furnished respecting the architecture and style of the farmhouse and with attention to detail. Equipped with an independent heating system, each apartment has the option of using a table, chairs and umbrella in the garden as well as the large common veranda overlooking the pool.

Farm products: we shall be very happy to organize for you extra-virgin olive oil tasting, visits to mills, wineries, farms that produce typical products. You can also ask for Tuscan cuisine classes, Italian classes, walking or horse-riding.
