Immersed in the Alta Murgia National Park, just 39 km from Bari airport, 14 km from Altamura and 27 km from Matera, the property is an estate that extends for about 300 hectares of “Murgia” and is surrounded by over 13 km of marvelous dry-stone walls: an uncontaminated place where nature welcomes guests with a warm embrace, in an ideal encounter between people, the plant world and the animal world, in order to fully taste the “Murgia experience”.

In these prairies there are trees peculiar to the Mediterranean vegetation: the downy oak, the thorny oak, the holm oak and the widespread spontaneous plants including the asphodel, the ferula and many others. The undergrowth is rich in medicinal plants such as honeysuckle, hawthorn, butcher's broom, rose hips as well as aromatic plants such as thyme, rosemary, mint, as well as herbs including asparagus, borage, dandelion and many others with colorful blooms. The encounters with small and medium-sized animals are truly extraordinary; while walking you can easily meet Podolian cows, free to graze, which will make you enjoy this total countryside experience. There are also frequent sightings of large birds of dimensions such as the red kite, a bird with a wingspan of over 2 mtr.

Rooms: The rooms of the estate have been obtained from the restoration and re-functionalization of the ancient "Jazzi", historically a shelter for sheep and today transformed into comfortable homes immersed in the deafening silence of the “Murgia”.

Superior rooms of 25 m2. with King Size double bed furnished in a sober but refined style and attentive to the surrounding area. Equipped with hot/cold air conditioning, telephone, tea kettle, mini fridge, bathroom with walk-in shower, 32' flat screen satellite TV, desks.

The 30sqm Suite is the perfect room to enjoy the atmosphere of the deepest “Murgia” with all the comforts already provided in the Superior rooms. The large space is divided into two zones and is furnished with high quality materials. The suite can accommodate up to 4 people (2 adults and 2 children or 4 adults) with a King Size bed + 2 single beds of 1m90

All the floors in the rooms have been made with oak parquet, the furniture in flaming oak, the roofs in wood and the walls in stone and ecological plaster.

Equipment: Each room has a small outdoor terrace, equipped with a table with umbrella and chairs; ideal place to admire the “Murgia” landscape that stretches as far as the eye can see. In fact, the outdoor spaces allow a view of the surrounding landscape immersed in a perfectly preserved natural ecosystem integrated into the rural context. The horizons are enriched from season to season with continuous blooms that change according to the climate. Huge centuries-old oaks surround the houses allowing you to stop outdoors for reading in the garden or to enjoy the delicacies of a barbeque surrounded by nature. In addition, the room area is equipped with a solarium, a 60 m2 swimming pool and a bar.

The ancient "focagna", the meeting place in front of the fireplace of farmers and shepherds has become a suggestive social meeting place in which to relive the experience of country life; place where the guest can spend hours of relaxation dedicating himself to reading in the early hours of the morning or at sunset. There is also a social kitchen, built in stone in a part of the ancient "Jazzo", well equipped with induction cookers, refrigerator, oven, fruit extractor, where each guest can prepare his meal by sharing it in the adjacent social room, even with the other guests. Breakfast is served in the same room in the morning.
