The farmhouse is located in the far edge of Salento, a few kilometers from a marvelous sea and the panoramic Capo di Leuca, in a territory cloaked by centuries-old olive trees and rich in ancient dry stone walls and characteristic rural buildings.

The farmhouse is immersed in the park of the rock settlement of Macurano, near Alessano, a small pearl of Baroque architecture, at the foot of the Messapian village of Montesardo.

The masseria is an ancient building dating back in part to the 15th century, whose premises were used as stables, warehouses for storing tobacco and included the home of the farmer or of the settlers. A skilful restoration, curated by the owners Luciana and Danilo, has made it possible to give tourist hospitality in this evocative place steeped in tradition. In addition, the six hectares of land belonging to the farm have been converted into a park, farm and breeding farm treated with organic methods.

The farm, consisting of an ancient underground mill on which an ancient noble villa with chapel and various rural buildings has risen over the centuries, has been renovated and now houses the room for exhibitions and conferences, the breakfast and tasting room, the seven guest rooms, the cellar for wine tasting, in addition to the owners' home.

Obtained in ancient rural buildings renovated respecting the architectural and archaeological constraints to which the farmhouse is subjected, and using ecological materials, the rooms are equipped with bathroom, air conditioning, heating and a small private garden shaded by a pergola.
