The farmhouse is situated in the heart of the Mugello only 38 km from Florence.

On the green slopes of Monte Giovi, at 500 metres above sea level it has a wonderful climate and magnificent views; the Mugello valley is in the foothills of the Tosco-Romagnolo Appenines.

Deep in the countryside and surrounded by delightful scenery, this farmhouse is the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing holiday.

It is possible however to take part also in more energetic activities, excursions in the woods and surrounding valleys, on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback (there are stables only 2km away), swimming in the lovely pool in the garden or, for the more lively, working on the farm.

The location of the farmhouse offers the opportunity for a cultural holiday too, with much of interest close by; old churches in the surrounding villages, the birth places of Giotto and Beato Angelico, and many museums in the area showing the local farming way of life in the past.

Many country fairs take place in the surrounding areas, local food and wines can be tasted and the farm itself offers many genuine and natural products grown by the biodynamic method, which is becoming ever more popular.
