Only Sicily can offer a truly relaxing holiday away from the bustle of city life where you experience real Mediterranean hospitality, taste pure organic cuisine straight from nature and enjoy the exquisite pleasures of simple living. The holiday house has a number of traditional yet modern accommodation options based around a 300 year old Sicilian farmhouse located in the woodland of Calaforno, in the centre of the Hyblean Mountains surrounded by the rolling green hills of Ragusa. Perfect for peaceful walks, trekking and mountain biking the whole area is surrounded by nature, trees and flowing streams as well as extensive olive groves which produce some of the best organic olive oil in the world. This charming converted farmhouse has residential cottages, a renowned restaurant, large swimming pool with sunbathing terrace and spacious grounds where you can spend a relaxing holiday away from it all!

The beautiful garden is the perfect place to have a drink leaving you attract by the typical scents of the Mediterranean bush. A lovely atmosphere, in full harmony with the pristine nature of the Park of Calaforno. Evocative and fascinating is the atmosphere generated by the swimming pool, ideal for relaxing, to be pampered by the sun, to play with your children and to be regenerated in the embrace of the water.

The restaurant is the perfect synthesis between flavour and culture, harmony and scents that only the hyblean cuisine can give. The philosophy of cooking is "the product for the product". It is essential to work the raw material as little as possible, so to offer dishes that are getting closer to the concept of nature. With flair and imagination the menu proposes new dishes and old recipes of the local tradition. The result is a seasonal menu that changes according to the availability of the ingredients.

“Die Unterkunft war hochwertig und detailverliebt gestaltet. Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich und ruhig, eingebettet in ein kleines Tal mit malerischem Blick auf die Natur. Pool ist sehr groß und gut gepflegt, die Wasserqualität war top. Besonders ist die Küche hervorzuheben, handgemachte Pasta und Steinofen-Pizzen sind außergewöhnlich lecker, selbst das T-Bone-Steak ist sehr zu empfehlen. Alle Ansprechpartner sind sehr nett, …wir kommen gerne wieder :-)”
