Location: this completely renovated 19th Century farmhouse is situated ammongst the lush, green hills in the lovely province of Pisa, near Volterra and San Gimignano. Surrounded by nature and history this is the ideal place if you wish to relax and escape the stresses of life.

For those who prefer shadow to the sun, guests can take advantage of the gazebo complete with tables and chairs reserved for every apartment.

Environs: the location of the farmhouse is also excellent if you wish to visit the most important cultural and artistic centres nearby of Tuscany.

You can easily visit the beautiful towns of Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Volterra, and even the sea at just 45 minutes away by car.

Composition: the property comprises two units, the main farm-house with 6 apartments, of which 4 one double bedroom apartments (50 sq. mts) and 2 two double bedroom apartments (75 sq. mts) and the hay barn with 2 three double bedroom apartments (80 sq. mts) restored and decorated in the original peasant style.

These two apartments are suitable for large families and group of friends who wish to be together and desire more privacy.

The farmhouse is a farmhouse that was completely renovated in the 19th century on the beautiful Tuscan hills that border the provinces of Florence, Pisa and Siena, near the Volterra and San Gimignano regions.

It is immersed in pristine and rugged natural setting rich in history and memories of the past, expressed by these cities in their art and stories.

The hamlet of Montelopio, approximately 2 km. from villa, is a witness to history: The Etruscans, the Longobardians, the Maritime Republic of Pisa, the Knights Templar, and the noble families of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany have all left signs of their passage and their stays here on this “mountain of well-being”.

The farmhouse is surrounded by a green area (7000 sq. m) it has covered private parking, bocce court, table tennis, children play area and a very large swimming pool, set amongst olive, oleander and fruit trees. Each apartment has its own shaded gazebo with tables and chairs.

In these times of COVID-19, we have immediately activated to guarantee our guests all the guarantees of sanitization, disinfection and maximum hygiene. 

Close to all common areas (e.g. solarium and swimming pool), as well as in each apartment, disinfectant gels are available for body use. Inside the property all the paths have been reorganized with one-way pedestrian transit in order to avoid junctions with other guests, thus maintaining a safe distance. To complete all the adaptation initiatives adopted in this particular and delicate period, there could not miss the training of the staff in maintaining and respecting all health regulations, staff that is constantly monitored.

The location of the farmhouse is ideal for visiting the most important cultural and artistic centres of Tuscany such as Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Volterra and the seaside is only 45 minutes drive away.

From April to September the apartments are available on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday, arrival between 16.00 – 24.00 hrs and departure between 8.00 – 10.00 hrs, whilst for the rest of the year October to March arrival and departure can be on any day of the week with a minimum stay of 2 days.
