“Un cadre magnifique pour un séjour reposant dotée d’une piscine extraordinaire”

Masseria très bien restaurée, entourée d’oliviers et d’orangers. Les chambres sont petites mais confortables et bien équipées. Le jardin est splendide avec une piscine digne d’un hôtel. Petit déjeuner copieux pris au jardin avec produits locaux salés et sucrés. Des serviettes sont mises à disposition pour la piscine.

Les réfrigérateurs dans les chambres ne fonctionnent pas correctement, font beaucoup de bruit et très peu de froid. En revanche la climatisation fonctionne bien. L’accueil est correct mais peu convivial ( nous ne parlions pas italien et le staff ne parlait pas anglais. Heureusement qu’il y a le traducteur Google !). Si l’on ne souhaite pas déjeuner ou dîner au restaurant, il faut s’équiper un minimum en couverts et assiettes car pas de possibilité d’en obtenir auprès du staff. Nous sommes restés 7 nuits et n’avions pas envie de sortir dîner au restaurant tous les soirs, donc à savoir…

Nice room, verty nice bathroom. Quiet. Nice host. Very nice pool area.

You need a car to get a meal. The hosts speak poor english, but that is also charming. We didn’t meet any of the staff in the afternoon, so we could not buy wine or get pillows to the chairs. We were there all by ourselves.

Endroit paradisiaque, belle piscine, décors très soignés , jardin superbe, personne très aimable faisant des efforts pour nous comprendre en anglais, petit déjeuner régional agrémenté du chant des hirondelles nichant sur place (très peu de salissures). Chambre confortable, bonne literie, très propre. Petite structure de quelques chambres, très calme. A quelques minutes de la ville et ses restaurants, sans en avoir les inconvénients. Parfait

Supermooi net opgeknapt complex, prachtige tuin en zwembad, heerlijk ontbijt, behulpzame mensen (na belletje kwam behulpzame dame met sleutel van wijnkoelkast en lekkere hapjes ) , in Massafra fantastisch en super gastvrij gegeten

Helaas laatste dag geen warm douchewater meer, zwembad erg koud, bleken laatste gasten. tijdens verblijf lastig iets te krijgen uit bijv wijnkoelkast, geen verdere voorzieningen beschikbaar.

La propriété, la belle chambre, la très grande et belle piscine.

L'accueil de la propriétaire. Elle a l'air négligée et fait le service minimum. Le petit-déjeuner est très médiocre. Elle ne nous a pas fait goûter un seul produit local. La propriété produit de l'huile d'olive mais nous ne l'avons même pas goûtée. Une des lampes de chevet ne marchait pas, nous l'avons signalé et nous avons attendu 24h pour que l'ampoule soit changée. Le premier jour nous n'avons pas eu de produit de douche, on a dû le réclamer.

Lovely clean rooms, Fabulous, if slightly cool, pool. Pool towels are provided Beautiful surroundings that are very clean and tidy Helpful and happy staff There was always a choice of fruit, yogurt, meat cheese and pastries for breakfast The buildings are a joy to explore

Although the rooms have air con, I feel they have been put in not quite the right place. They are above the entrance door and would be better in the bedroom

Situé au milieu d'un grand domaine d'orangeraie, la villa est une belle bâtisse en pierre de plusieurs siècles, un véritable hâvre de paix calme et tranquille. La piscine est particulièrement grande et agréable, les parties communes très bien entretenues, notamment les espaces verts qui sont une terre d'accueil pour les hirondelles qu'on ne se lasse pas d'observer. Chambres spacieuses et très confortables. La propriétaire est très conviviale. Nous espérons y revenir un jour.

Absolument tout ! L'hospitalité des propriétaires et du personnel, le cadre exceptionnel dans lequel nous avons séjourné, les petits copieux petits déjeuners, la localisation de la Masseria,... On s'y est senti comme à la maison dès le premier instant ! Tout était parfait !

one big remark anyhow.....we left one day earlier than predicted because the owners rented the whole Masseria for a wedding party including 150/200 guests..... + disco bar (next to our room....) and under our arcade terrace a huge mobile kitchen + 8/10 people staff were hosted.....a shame that we were not informed before booking but the host was friendly and let us go anyway.

don't miss the pool! the quieteness! there is also a tennis court available

Beautiful location, fantastic pool, pleasant and air-conditioned accommodation. The hosts could not have been friendlier or more helpful.

Avoid the local beaches in high summer: parking is a nightmare, and there are just too many people.

You really have to have a car: the nearest town (Massafra) is too far to walk in the heat. There are lots of places to visit for day trips, and the local wine - Primitivo - will offer a robust accompaniment to your meal. The owners, Angelo & Maria(?) were fantastic, but as they speak little English, it is useful to know some Italian or French.

Le petit déjeuner et l'accueil étaient parfaits ! si l'on souhaite de rposer c'est l'endroit idéal.

Il est dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de restauration le soir, car il faut faire plusieurs kilométres pour trouver un restaurant...

à Massafra 517 on peut passer des vacances comme dans une maison de famille. l'endroit est exceptionnel et trés reposant.
