Our farmhouse with swimming pool is located in the heart of Tuscany, in the province of Florence, in the land of the ancient Etruscans, in a unique historical, cultural, artistic and natural context, along the Via Francigena, the road that leads from Canterbury to Rome, traveled in the Middle Ages by thousands of pilgrims. Its position is ideal for easily reaching the main cities of art, Florence (km 42), Siena (km 48), Pisa (km 55), Volterra (km 34), San Gimignano (km 26), as well as places of particular naturalistic value such as the Fucecchio Marshes.

Nearby it is possible to visit the museum and the birthplace of Leonardo in Vinci, the birthplace of Boccaccio in Certaldo and the ancient town of San Miniato, famous for the White Truffle where every year in the month of November for the duration of 3 weeks a large market exhibition of the famous and tasty tuber takes place.

Immersed in the green Tuscan hills of Chianti, among avenues of cypresses, rows of vines, olive trees and wheat fields, our farmhouse is the ideal place to spend a holiday of relaxation and tranquility.

In an environment where history, art, natural folklore mix in a combination of colours, sounds and ancient flavours, one can find the right inner balance and natural rhythms, which are increasingly lost in the frenzy of modern life.

We organize tastings of our products and guided excursions for truffle hunting.

Our Agriturismo offers its own production of wine, grappa, Vin Santo, extra virgin olive oil, honey.

“Na een zeer warm welkom van de vriendelijke eigenaren, hebben we echt genoten van de structuur! Het is een goed bereikbare plek, zeer centraal gelegen in de Toscane. Steden als Florence, Siena en Pisa zijn allemaal binnen een uur te berijden, evenals middeleeuwse stadjes als Volterra en San Gimignano. Sfeervolle middeleeuwse plaatsjes als Certaldo en San Miniato liggen zelfs op een kwartiertje rijden. De agriturismo is wat dat betreft een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor wie de schitterende steden en dorpen van de Toscane wil bezoeken. De plek zelf is goed onderhouden en biedt ruim voldoende comfort. Naast een keuken met zithoek, hadden we ook de beschikking over twee slaapkamers met een tweepersoonsbed, een ruime badkamer met douche en nog een piepklein badkamertje voor de kinderen. Ook hadden we nog een fijn overkapt terrasje. Ideaal voor de maaltijd of om ‘s avonds nog even na te genieten. Het zwembad van ongeveer 12x6 meter was favoriet bij de kinderen. Wij als ouders konden er ook goed ontspannen op de ligbedden. Er vlogen wel behoorlijk veel bijen rond, maar het voordeel daarvan was dat ik geen wesp gezien heb. Kortom, wij hebben er een perfecte vakantie gehad!”
