The property dates back to the 16th century, when it was established as an olive mill for processing olives grown on the terraces along the slopes of Monte Pesalto. Over the centuries, the estate was expanded with stables, storage rooms and large cisterns used to collect olive oil and rainwater. In the 17th century, the upper floor was added, including the elegant rooms used by the aristocratic owners during the olive-harvesting and milling season.

After centuries of history and several changes of ownership, the ancient farmhouse underwent a long and meticulous restoration project, completed in 2026.
