  -Excellent hosts -nice setting -plentiful meals served by family members

  -we were given a room in the main house above the restaurant....it was noisy at times when the two or three dining rooms were full at lunch or dinner -There is another building on the property which has guestrooms. It is about 300m from the main house......not a short walk for breakfast if you end up placed in one these rooms. -a pool is shown in the description of the property. We hoped to use the pool as the weather was still quite warm ( Sep 30-Oct 1). The owner closed the pool for the season which was a big disappointment to us. He claimed it was too time consuming to clean the leaves out of the pool every morning late in the season, so we were out of luck.

  Setting was good.

  Rooms were not very clean. Bathroom shower leaked over floor, then run out of hot water. Washbasin blocked and drained away very slowly (like overnight!), which must have been apparent to cleaning staff. Internet connection non-existant in rooms, as located some 500m from main building. Food was of average quality and not as good as we expected from other reviews.
