Room was small and bed is very uncomfortable. It was not cheap at all especially if take into account that you have to share the kitchen and other commom area with others. No proper brekfast was provided and we were charged for using a washing machine. The owner seems like was luck of interest and enthusiasm .

I would't recommend it to stay for someone who is looking for comfort and authentic experience. May be for someone who prefer camping style holiday , self contained , although for that type of accomodation it is too expensive

Lits très très durs (pas de véritable sommier, mais une plaque de bois !) Cuisine partagée et chambres non occupées louées à des touristes de passage : curieux !

Gîte sympa, mais occupation nécessaire des 3 chambres pour garantir l'intimité de la famille et l'usage de la cuisine .. partagée Bien situé au milieu des coteaux de chianti, à proximité de Sienne Prix très correct (comparativement aux autres gîtes)

Anlage ist auf einer Anhöhe mit herrlichem Ausblick, 5 Min. zu Fuß ins Ortszentrum von Castellina. Sehr ruhige Anlage mit hohem Erholungswert.

Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man Ruhe und Entspannung sucht.

This town is conveniently located between Siena and San Gimignano (so it is easy to do day trips between each village). The pool was beautifully landscaped. It was a quiet peaceful location at the end of a dirt road. The owners / manager was very friendly (had a great sense of humour).

I always have a problem with places that advertise internet availability, but when you get there it is in a common location. If you are going to advertise internet you should be able to see if it is in the rooms or in a common location. This location was outdoors by the office under some trees. I had to sit in under a stairwell while it was raining to do some work. Unfortunately, even though my family members were on vacation, I have to respond to emergencies at work, so it is very useful to have internet in the room / apartment. Only negative comment though....otherwise, we would return to the same place.

Don't miss visiting Siena and San Gimignano! Unfortunately, we did not make it to Greve in Chianti. Castellina in Chianti was very small but very beautiful!

The one bedroom apartment was very nice and adequeate. The natural surroundings were peaceful and relaxing.

However the TV situation ws not suitable. It was mounted too high on the wall and the reception was not that great!. Our necks ended up very stiff after our stay and we only watched a little at night.

The drives through the countryside were amaizing, wonderful scenery and great restaurants at the little towns and on side of road.
